robot simulation and off-line programming
Eureka has the core of digital manufacturing technologies: robot simulation and off-line programming.
Off-line programming makes possible the 3D visualization of the robot movements before actually programming it. It’s possible to verify the robot trajectory (limits and singularities) and detect collisions between all the working cell objects.
CAM PROGRAM EDITOR
The editor window that displays the CAM program sequence offers the following features: editing, debugging tools (breakpoints), multi-program management. Ability to generate a processing report.
POST-PROCESS AND SIMULATION
A 3D graphics window displays all robotic cell components. The simulation can be performed as follows: simulate the whole program, run until the breakpoint, run the subprograms, run fast. It also runs the simulation of load tool, pallet change, opening/closing doors.
The collisions check is performed between all the cell components. The calculation results is pointed out in the 3D graphics window (wireframe or emissive colors) and in the message window.

REACHABILITY AND SINGULARITIES
Reachability and singularities are pointed out as errors (red color) in the program editor window and in the meggage window.
Axes limits and singularities range are end user configurable.
The MiniCAD tool is helpful to draw dimensional profiles on which to build revolution or extrusion shapes.
VIRTUAL TEACH PENDANT
The virtual teach pendant feature allows user to move robot and / or external axes in two ways: cartesian (relative to a reference system) or joints (axis to axis). It’s useful to quickly determining the optimum points of approach and exit from the workpiece.

EASY FIX INTERFACE
Eureka interfaces with our proprietary software application Easy FIX to optimize the toolpath points sequence.
Eureka interfaces with FullHMI, our software application that helps robot operator managing, monitoring, remoting the robotized cell activities.
EurekaAddIn is an additional feature that link CAM application to Eureka. It’s useful to transfer tool data and workpiece data from CAM to Eureka to have a time saving during robotized cell configuration.
MATERIAL REMOVAL SIMULATION
The material removal simulation from the workpiece rough is essential to check the collisions during roughing program. The rapid and spindle off status check in roughing are also available. It can be saved the intermediate material residue 3D file.
COOPERATING ROBOTS MANAGEMENTS
Eureka manages robotized cells with cooperating working robots.
The unlimited kinematic structures available are: translational and rotational. The working cell in terms of kinematics can be individually configured by end user.
